The WSDOT Office of Human Resources & Safety (OHR&S) is in search of an aspiring human resources professional for our Olympia, WA headquarters office. The position will work directly with our Labor Relations Manager to provide consultation on standard labor relations issues, including the grievance process, corrective and disciplinary process and collective bargaining agreement (CBA) language.
Like fitting pieces into a puzzle, this position will require someone to look for bits of information and then form general rules and conclusions including finding relationship among seemingly unrelated events. Working daily in a team environment the ideal candidate will also be able to effectively communicate and relay these complex pieces of information at all levels.
The top candidate selected will have a keen eye for detail, have a knack for multi-tasking, and have stellar customer service and communications skills.
