WSDOT is looking for a human resources professional to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This team forms a strategic partnership with business units within Headquarters located in Olympia, WA. The incumbent will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in benefits administration, employee relations, labor relations, classification/compensation, performance management, reasonable accommodation, and leave administration. This is an excellent opportunity for a generalist who wants to fully utilize their HR skills to become truly accomplished in this field.
This professional will independently respond to inquiries from employees and managers, and ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented effectively and efficiently. To succeed in this role, the successful candidate must possess the ability to quickly build, develop and foster positive working relationships with diverse customer groups. Therefore, exceptional customer service abilities will be invaluable. You will use professional experience in human resources practices, policies and procedures, and collective bargaining agreements to respond to inquiries, educate staff, and communicate updates and changes.
Candidates will be considered as a HRC3 or HRC4 depending on qualifications.
