WSDOT has a unique opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning professional to provide expert level financial planning for all statewide toll facilities.
As a Senior Financial Planner, you will provide expert level financial planning for statewide toll facilities, with focus on toll traffic and revenue forecasting, toll facility long-term and short-term financial planning, development of plans/toll rate scenarios that support the toll rate setting process, maintenance, and preservation needs, and support HQ to be in compliance with bond covenants.

This position will perform the following work:
Plan, conduct and direct transportation economic and statistical research and analysis.
Analyze and evaluate data and reports and make recommendations.
Monitor monthly Toll Traffic and Revenue performance.
Provide regular status updates and reports to all internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with Traffic and Revenue Consultants as well as external forecasting groups.
Produce documentation used to set toll rates and revenue analysis.
Other duties as assigned.
An ideal candidate for this position will possess:
A bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Business, Economics, Finance, Public Administration or closely related field.
Five or more years of experience in the analysis and evaluation of transportation, economic, or financial issues.
Working knowledge of the State revenue forecasting, travel demand modeling, or budget process is desirable.
Expert level financial planning experience.
Advanced working knowledge of Excel and other Accounting software.
