The City of Portland is seeking a Performance Analyst (Senior Management Analyst) in the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). The Performance Analyst position will serve as lead of the Strategy, Innovation, and Performance division. The position will engage staff throughout the bureau in discussions around strategic planning, process improvement, program evaluation, data analysis, research on industry best practices, refining performance measures, creating performance dashboards and other reporting tools, and incorporating performance data into decision making.
The position must possess the individual initiative to review business processes, identify performance issues, develop recommendations to improve service delivery, and work collaboratively with others to implement those recommendations. In addition, candidates should be comfortable challenging organizational norms and providing innovative approaches to solving complex problems. Potential candidates should also have excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience delivering presentations to small and large audiences.
